ODYSSEO2 :

Odysseo2 is a non-profit organization specializing in climate change, specifically on projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, called " CO₂  projects"

The organizations objective is to support initiatives and develop actions around projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG).

CO₂ Sustainable Impact Project:

- Researching, examining and interfacing with CO₂ projects and project developer

- Projects with sustainable benefits

- South America - Oceania - Asia

- Dec 2008 through to Dec 2009

Project participant :

Manon Delachenal, 29 years old - organization President - Experience of 4 years working in the Carbon activity

CO₂ Sustainable Impact Calendar :

Preparatory phase from France :

-          search and identify existing and potential projects

-          identify local contacts

-          identify technical et financial partnerships

Study and realization phase around the world :

-          meet project developers and search for new projects on the field

-          make people aware of the Global warming impacts

-          Observe and study projects which are the most appropriate to the local communities

-          advise and exchange information with local developers

-          write Project overview

-          link project developers with partners to develop it

Final Phase back in France :

-          write a guide displaying the CO₂  projects which present the best sustainable Impact

-          select a CO₂  project to develop with the help of a local structure partnership

Why this project :

-          To act on the Global Warming Impact

-          To observe and understand better the carbon market

-          To promote sustainable development projects thanks to the carbon finance
